Delete Your Account

Account deletion is permanent

Deleting your account will permanently remove your personal data, ride history, saved places, and all associated information from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Profile photo
  • Saved places (home, work, custom locations)
  • Ride history and trip details
  • Ratings and reviews
  • Push notification preferences and device tokens
  • For drivers: vehicle information, documents, and earnings history

What may be retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Transaction records required for tax and accounting compliance (up to 7 years)
  • Data necessary to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations
  • Anonymised, aggregated data that cannot identify you personally

Option 1: Delete from the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the app:

Cab Connect Passenger App

  1. Open the Cab Connect app
  2. Tap the menu icon and go to Profile
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your identity by entering your password
  5. Tap "Delete My Account" to confirm

Cab Connect Driver App

  1. Open the Cab Connect Driver app
  2. Tap the menu icon and go to Profile
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your identity by entering your password
  5. Tap "Delete My Account" to confirm

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you are unable to delete your account through the app, you can request deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to info@fijicabconnect.com
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the phone number or email address associated with your account
  4. Specify whether it is a Passenger or Driver account

We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

Before you delete

Please note the following before proceeding:

  • Ensure you have no ongoing or pending rides
  • For drivers: ensure all pending payouts have been processed
  • Account deletion is irreversible — you will need to create a new account if you wish to use Cab Connect again
